President/Managing Partner Jody Briandi was selected as the outstanding Section Chair of the year and was awarded the John Appleman Award at the Federation of Defense & Corporate Counsel Annual Meeting in Toronto.

On July 11, 2024, Hurwitz Fine’s President/Managing Partner Jody Briandi was ranked #50 on Buffalo Business First’s 2024 Power 200 Women, a list of some of the most influential and talented women in Buffalo who have fueled economic, social, and cultural growth throughout Western New York. This is the fifth consecutive year that Jody has been featured on the annual Power 200 Women list.

Agnieszka A. Wilewicz, Member at Hurwitz Fine P.C., was once again appointed as a Vice-Chair to the American Bar Associations (ABA) Tort Trial & Insurance Practice Sections’ (TIPS) Insurance Coverage Litigation General Committee for the 2024-25 bar year.

Associate Attorney Kaitlin A. Sines was honored by Buffalo Business First as a “30 Under 30” winner on April 25, 2024.  The honorees selected stood out for their career achievements, leadership and initiative, community engagement and potential to become a community leader on a grand scale.

Hurwitz Fine was recently honored by the University at Buffalo Law Students with Disabilities and Neurodivergencies (LSDN) with the 2024 Allyship Award. This award was given for “outstanding acts of allyship not only in our diversity statement, but also in our actions.”
