Hurwitz Fine Volunteers with The Buffalo Olmstead Parks Conservancy

On Friday, June 20th, Hurwitz Fine continued their commitment to community service by volunteering with the Buffalo Olmsted Parks Conservancy. As part of the firm’s ongoing initiative to give back to the community, a group of dedicated team members spent the day beautifying Colonial Circle, located in Buffalo’s vibrant Elmwood Village neighborhood.

The volunteer efforts focused on clearing out old foliage, weeding garden beds, and preparing the area for fresh mulch and new plantings. Volunteers also removed weeds from cracks in the sidewalks, helping to restore and maintain the park’s clean and welcoming appearance.

The Buffalo Olmsted Parks Conservancy is a nationally significant organization—recognized as the first nonprofit in the country to manage and operate a historic urban park system. The system spans 850 acres and includes a network of parks, parkways, and circles designed by renowned landscape architect Frederick Law Olmsted.
