Jody Briandi Ranks #39 on Buffalo Business First’s 2025 Power 200 Women

On July 10, 2025, Hurwitz Fine’s President/Managing Partner Jody Briandi was ranked #39 on Buffalo Business First’s 2025 Power 200 Women, a list of the most influential and talented women in Buffalo who have fueled economic, social, and cultural growth throughout Western New York. This is the sixth consecutive year that Jody has been featured on the annual list. 

Jody leads Hurwitz Fine’s Board of Directors and chairs the firm’s Premises Liability, Retail & Hospitality Liability and School District Litigation practice groups. With over 25 years of experience, she is a seasoned trial attorney who regularly handles cases in state, federal, and appellate courts across New York State. 

In addition to her litigation practice, Jody champions the firm’s diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives as chair of the internal DEI committee. She also helped found the firm's Forum for Women Lawyers—an employee resource group dedicated to supporting the advancement of women attorneys through mentorship, networking, and community-building opportunities.

Jody is also actively involved in the community, serving as an executive board member of the Amherst Chamber of Commerce and board member of the SUNY Buffalo University Foundation, the WNY Women’s Foundation, and the Volunteer Lawyers Project.
