Hurwitz Fine President/Managing Partner Jody Briandi sat down with several other WNY women lawyers at the Buffalo Business First Table of Experts "Women in Law" panel.

Each December, Hurwitz Fine's Safety & Wellness Committee partners with a local organization to host our annual Adopt-a-Family Drive. This year, we partnered with WNY Heroes, a veterans' assistance organization, to bring some holiday cheer to two local, in-need families. 

Hurwitz Fine participated in the Eighth Annual James Otis Lecture this week, held at the Robert H. Jackson Courthouse in Buffalo, NY, and sponsored by the Buffalo Chapter of ABOTA.

This year’s honorees are composed of business leaders from some of WNY’s largest companies and nonprofit organizations, who have been nominated as innovators within their company, trailblazers who effectively navigate the complexities of their field, role models for their staff and among their peers, and standard-setters within their industry.

Maxwell C. Radley, Associate at Hurwitz Fine P.C., was recognized for his Pro Bono services to the United States District Court in the Northern District of New York on September 27, 2022. 

On September 15, 2022, Hurwitz Fine Business & Commercial Litigation Member Andrea Schillaci was honored at Buffalo Business First's 16th annual Women of Influence awards.

Hurwitz Fine is welcoming several law school students to work in our Buffalo office to gain impactful experience through our Summer Law Clerkship. These law clerks will support the firm’s attorneys through research, writing projects, and case preparation.  

Business & Commercial Litigation Department Head Andrea Schillaci was recently interviewed on AM Buffalo for her involvement as President of the Buffalo-Niagara Chapter of the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO). The interview focused on International Women's Day and how NAWBO helps increase opportunities and celebrate business successes for women in the Western New York area

Hurwitz & Fine President/Managing Partner Jody E. Briandi was recently appointed to the 2022 Amherst Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors during the Chamber’s Annual Meeting, for a term of three years. In this role, Jody will join area business leaders in helping the Chamber to advance its mission of nurturing a strong economic base, maintaining a high quality of life and promoting sound public policy for the Western New York region.
