
Ms. Brown is a member of the firm’s Economic Development and Business Services practice groups, focusing on serving municipalities and real estate development clients.
She advises clients on a wide range of corporate and real estate matters and has significant experience working with developers, lenders, and equity investors in all aspects of real estate development and financing, including low-income housing tax credit transactions and renewable energy projects.
Ms. Brown represents a diverse client base, including industrial development agencies, local development corporations, and businesses. She has been involved in transactions related to negotiating payments in lieu of taxes (PILOT) agreements, lease-leaseback structures, real estate transactions, and IDA-assisted projects and financing. Most recently, she played a key role in the development of a local renewable energy facility.
Earlier in her legal career, Ms. Brown managed a solo practice, where she honed her skills in building effective and responsive client relationships while maintaining a holistic focus on meeting their needs.
She earned her law degree from Brooklyn Law School and holds a master’s degree in social work as well as a bachelor’s degree from the University at Buffalo.
When not working, Ms. Brown can be found teaching and practicing hot yoga, baking or spending time with loved ones (including her spoiled pup!).
