Mr. Mark is an attorney in the firm’s Insurance Coverage and Litigation departments, focusing his practice in insurance law, premises liability, construction accidents, toxic tort, product liability, professional liability and general liability insurance defense. He has significant experience handling all aspects of complex insurance coverage matters with significant exposure arising from bodily injury and property damage. He regularly handles coverage analysis and litigation, and has represented clients on a range of priority of coverage and excess issues. Mr. Mark has obtained favorable decisions for clients in multi-million dollar declaratory judgment actions in both first and third-party coverage cases.
He is also regularly engaged in all aspects of a general liability defense from inception through trial, including expert retention and consultation, all aspects of discovery, conducting and defending depositions, motion practice, mediation and trial preparation. He has represented insurance companies, insureds, owners, contractors and municipalities before state and federal courts.
Mr. Mark received his Juris Doctor from the Touro Law Center where he was awarded the CALI Academic Excellence Award in Disability Law. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in History from the State University of New York at Oswego.
He is a member of the Suffolk County Bar Association, the Defense Association of New York and the Federal Bar Association.
