Mr. Mark leads Hurwitz Fine’s New York City metropolitan office and contributes to the firm’s strategic direction as a member of its Board of Directors. He is part of the Insurance Coverage and Litigation departments, and focuses his practice on insurance law, premises liability, automobile liability, construction accidents, toxic torts, product liability, professional liability, and general liability defense.

With extensive experience in complex insurance coverage litigation, Mr. Mark regularly advises and represents clients in high-exposure matters involving bodily injury and property damage. He is frequently called upon for coverage analysis, priority of coverage issues, and excess litigation. His work has resulted in favorable outcomes in multi-million-dollar declaratory judgment actions, encompassing both first- and third-party coverage disputes.

In addition to his coverage work, Mr. Mark maintains a robust general liability defense practice. He is actively involved at every stage of litigation—from pre-suit evaluation through trial—handling expert engagement, discovery, depositions, motion practice, mediation, and trial preparation. He has represented insurers, insureds, property owners, contractors, and municipal entities in both state and federal courts.

Mr. Mark received his Juris Doctor from the Touro Law Center where he was awarded the CALI Academic Excellence Award in Disability Law. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in History from the State University of New York at Oswego.

He is a member of the Suffolk County Bar Association, the Defense Association of New York, and the Federal Bar Association.
