Ms. Meksraitis-Elliott is an attorney in Hurwitz Fine's Buffalo office with more than a decade of civil litigation experience. After building her practice in Florida, she now represents clients throughout Western New York, bringing extensive experience in personal injury and trucking litigation.
In addition to her litigation practice, Ms. Meksraitis-Elliott is a member of the firm’s Trusts & Estates Department, where she assists clients with estate planning matters. Her licensure and prior practice in Florida provide a unique perspective when advising clients with connections, property, or planning considerations spanning both New York and Florida.
Originally from Tampa, Florida, Ms. Meksraitis-Elliott earned her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Appalachian State University in Boone, North Carolina, where she developed a lasting appreciation for the outdoors. She went on to earn her Juris Doctor from the Appalachian School of Law and was admitted to practice in Florida in 2014.
For more than 11 years, Ms. Meksraitis-Elliott practiced civil litigation in the Tampa area, with a concentration in personal injury and trucking litigation. She developed significant experience handling complex transportation matters involving commercial motor carriers, navigating the unique regulatory, factual, and liability issues these cases present.
Ms. Meksraitis-Elliott recently relocated to the Buffalo area with her family and is now admitted to practice in New York. She is committed to providing clients with practical, strategic legal counsel and the same thorough, client-focused approach that has defined her practice throughout her career.
Outside the office, Ms. Meksraitis-Elliott enjoys spending time with her family, exploring the outdoors, following sports, and pursuing her longtime interest in history.
