Hurwitz Fine attorneys Lee Siegel and Mike Williams have advanced at the firm, effective May 1. Lee has been named a Shareholder and Mike has been promoted to Member. Both individuals have exceled as an attorney and in the practice of law. They are committed to their clients, handle highly complex matters, and are always ready and willing to assist our teams. Outside of their legal work, each of these individuals are actively involved in legal and community organizations, and regularly author articles and speak at events.
Lee joined the firm in December 2018, as a member of our Insurance Coverage team, after previously working at The Hartford as Assistant Vice President in the Law Department. Shortly after joining the firm, he became a key member of our newly formed CVA team. He successfully expanded our firm into the Connecticut area. Lee regularly speaks at conferences, is active in DRI and authors articles on CVA and Insurance topics for national publications. Lee has published several articles in Law360 and is also a columnist for Coverage Pointers.
Mike Williams joined us also in October 2021, as special counsel to assist us in our CVA work. He has considerable experience in mass tort and multi-district litigation and has utilized those strategies in managing multi-plaintiff CVA matters. He also is a columnist for Products Liability Pointers. Mike is admitted not only in New York, but also in California, Washington, D.C., the United States Supreme Court, and most recently in Peacemakers’ Court. Dedicated to the community, Mike is a volunteer with the Harris Hill Volunteer Fire Company as a firefighter, EMT and a sworn New York State peace officer for fire police duties.
