
Mr. Beal is a litigation associate in Hurwitz Fine’s Rochester office. His practice focuses on defending automobile liability and complex asbestos exposure claims. He represents insurers, businesses, and individuals in cases involving toxic torts, product liability, and motor vehicle accidents. His work includes analyzing medical and scientific evidence, developing defense strategies, and guiding clients through the unique challenges of high-exposure and high-volume litigation.
Mr. Beal earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Brigham Young University. He went on to earn his Juris Doctor from Syracuse University. While attending Syracuse Law, he also earned a Master of Science degree in the field of Forensic Science.
Prior to joining Hurwitz Fine, Mr. Beal worked as a Public Defender. Mr. Beal represented indigent criminal defendants with the Law Office of the Public Defender in Roswell, NM, before spending several years at the Monroe County Public Defender’s Office in Rochester, NY.
While in law school, Mr. Beal interned with the Clark County Public Defender’s Office in Las Vegas, NV, and with Legal Aid of Mid-New York’s Syracuse office. He also worked as a student attorney with the Criminal Defense Clinic. Mr. Beal was also heavily involved in the Syracuse Public Interest Network (SPIN).
Mr. Beal and his family reside outside of Rochester in Parma, NY, with their many pets. They enjoy playing games, cheering for the Bills, and reading together.
