Dana M. Aprigliano

Ms. Aprigliano is a litigation associate in the firm’s General Litigation Practice Group in Melville. She defends individuals and businesses in a wide range of matters, including motor vehicle accidents, premises liability, construction accidents, negligent security, and other general negligence claims.

Prior to joining Hurwitz Fine, Ms. Aprigliano gained litigation experience, handling cases across multiple practice areas including personal injury and trusts and estates. Ms. Aprigliano earned her Juris Doctorate from St. John’s University, School of Law, where she served as Executive Publications Editor of the American Bankruptcy Institute Law Review and as a Teaching Fellow for first year students. She participated in the Dean’s Travel Study Program in Ireland in the Spring of 2024 and wrote her note on criminal cases of clergy sexual abuse in the United States and Ireland. While in law school, she also served as an intern in the chambers of the Hon. Frederic Block, District Judge of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York.

Prior to law school, Ms. Aprigliano obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Classics and English from Hofstra University, graduating summa cum laude. Additionally, Ms. Aprigliano worked as a real estate paralegal and, later, a real estate closing agent. Her background provides her with a well-rounded perspective and a strong foundation in complex litigation matters.
