Article 51 of New York State’s Insurance Law creates a unique framework for the types of damages that plaintiffs in most automobile accident lawsuits can recover.  This program is meant as a primer to explain what that framework is, how to identify issues related to Article 51 and also strategy for how to approach damages in New York automobile cases.
