Hurwitz Fine President/Managing Partner Jody E. Briandi received the 2024 Buffalo Business First IDEA Award at the journal’s annual event on February 15, 2024. The honorees of the annual IDEA (Inclusion Diversity Equity Awareness) Awards stand out for upholding diversity, inclusion, and equity in their businesses and the Western New York Community.
In addition to her role as President/Managing Partner, Jody leads Hurwitz Fine’s internal DEI committee and the Forum for Women Lawyers, an employee resource group intended to provide the firm’s women lawyers with social and professional opportunities to build sustaining careers and strengthen relationships among colleagues and peers in the community.
Jody is also actively involved in the community, serving as an executive board member of the Amherst Chamber of Commerce and board member of the SUNY Buffalo University Foundation, the WNY Women’s Foundation, and the Volunteer Lawyers Project.
