Hurwitz & Fine, P.C. announces attorneys Brian D. Barnas, Anastasia M. McCarthy and Brian M. Webb have advanced from associates to members. Each one of these lawyers have continued to not only excel in the practice of law, but demonstrate their exemplary professional skills, firm citizenship, and commitment to clients.
Brian D. Barnas focuses his practice in insurance law. He provides coverage analysis and advice to clients under various types of insurance policies and has litigated insurance coverage matters in federal and state courts across New York. Brian is a member of the national DRI organization, where he is an active member of the Insurance Law Committee.
Anastasia M. McCarthy focuses her practice on defending businesses, municipalities, school districts, and youth-serving organizations against high exposure civil claims. She belongs to the firms Product Liability, Premises Liability, School District Representation, and Retail & Hospitality practice groups and is active in the firms Diversity & Inclusion Committee and law clerk program. Outside of the office, Anastasia currently serves as the President Elect of the Western New York Chapter of the Women’s Bar Association and as co-chair of the Women’s Bar Statewide Legislation Committee.
Brian M. Webb focuses his practice on insurance defense, specifically defending against claims of personal injuries resulting from motor vehicle accidents, as well as premises liability. Brian is also a member of the firm’s 24-Hour Emergency Response Team for trucking accidents. He has also become a mentor to newer associates in the practice group, assisting them in all areas of practice as well as integrating them into the firm.
