Hurwitz & Fine litigation attorney Anastasia McCarthy was honored at the second annual IDEA (Inclusion Diversity Equity Awareness) Awards presented by Buffalo Business First on Thursday, March 3, 2021, for her efforts in championing diversity & inclusion.
Anastasia is very active in women's and LGBTQ organizations. She serves as a local director for the Women's Bar Association of WNY and co-chairs the Chapter's Legislative committee. She was also recently appointed as co-chair of the Statewide Legislative Committee of the Women's Bar Association of the State of New York, and is an active member in the National LGBT Bar Association. She also serves on the firm's internal Diversity & Inclusion committee, which works to develop initiatives to increase diversity within the firm, as well as to assist in providing access to legal services to underserved members of the community at whole.
