
Ms. Schreib is special counsel in the firm’s litigation group. Her practice is focused on defending matters involving medical malpractice, long-term care and nursing home facilities, premises liability, and general negligence litigation.
Ms. Schreib has over 25 years of experience in civil litigation. Before joining Hurwitz Fine, Ms. Schreib served as Assistant Staff Counsel to a large national insurance carrier for over 10 years, defending both personal and commercial policy holders in a wide range of tort actions involving motor vehicle accidents, wrongful death, premises liability, and product liability. Prior to that, she represented both plaintiffs and defendants across multiple practice areas including personal injury, medical malpractice, municipal liability, and labor law. In addition, she has experience with appellate practice in the Appellate Division, Fourth Department.
Ms. Schreib earned her Juris Doctor degree cum laude from the University at Buffalo School of Law in 1999, where she was elected to the position of Head Note and Comment Editor of the Buffalo Law Review. She is licensed to practice in New York and the U.S. District Court, W.D.N.Y.
Ms. Schreib received a Bachelor of Arts degree in English with a certificate of qualification in teaching from the State University of New York at Geneseo.
