Two Members of Hurwitz & Fine Graduate from the Buffalo Niagara Partnership’s Diversity & Inclusion Academy

Hurwitz & Fine Director of Human Resources, Susan Ruhland, and Attorney Anastasia M. McCarthy, proudly completed the Buffalo Niagara Partnership’s Diversity & Inclusion Academy this week.

This four session program, taught by nationally recognized industry experts, offered the chance to learn and exchange ideas about inclusive leadership skills and strategies to nurture a diverse work environment.

In addition, participants attended the Racial Equity Impact Analysis Training (REIAT), through the Community Foundation for Greater Buffalo, to supplement their diversity training.

Ms. Ruhland and Ms. McCarthy are members of Hurwitz & Fine’s Diversity & Inclusion Committee, which provides recommendations to the Firm’s Board of Directors regarding the recruitment of diverse job candidates, retention, community outreach, the use of diverse vendors, and the promotion of an inclusive work environment based on respecting and embracing the experiences and perspectives of others.
