Patrice C. S. Melville Joins Hurwitz Fine as a Litigation Attorney in Long Island

Patrice C. S. Melville has joined Hurwitz Fine's Long Island office as a litigation associate. She focuses her practice on the defense of businesses and individuals in a wide array of litigated matters. Prior to joining Hurwitz Fine, Patrice represented corporations and individuals in construction accidents and premises liability, property damage, and subrogation claims.

Patrice received her Juris Doctor degree from University of Arkansas at Little Rock, where she was an Associate Notes Editor of the school’s Law Review, Vice President of the Black Law Student’s Association, and Student Marshall at the 2012 Commencement Ceremony.  She received her Bachelor of Arts in African American Studies from Temple University. Patrice has provided service as a pro bono lawyer for the Volunteer Lawyers Project of the Nassau Suffolk Law Services Committee, Inc. She is also a member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated, a community-conscious, action-oriented organization dedicated to transforming the lives of others.
