Diane F. Bosse, Special Counsel at Hurwitz & Fine, P.C., was recently elected chair-elect of the Council of the American Bar Association Section of Legal Education and Admissions to the Bar. Ms. Bosse will automatically become Council chair in August 2019. The Council adopts and enforces the Standards for Approval of Law Schools in the U.S. It is recognized by the U.S. Department of Education as the national accrediting agency for programs leading to the J.D. degree. The Section strives to improve legal education and lawyer licensing by fostering cooperation among legal educators, practitioners and judges through workshops, conferences and publications. Ms. Bosse is chair of the New York State Board of Law Examiners, a position she has held since 2001.
