
Ms. Bucci focuses her practice in insurance coverage analysis and coverage litigation in the states of New York and Connecticut. She routinely provides strategic advice on insurance related issues and risk management on a national basis for admitted, surplus lines, excess and risk retention group insurers and has successfully litigated cases in both state and federal court throughout New York State and Connecticut. She has significant experience as an appellate attorney in New York.
Previously, Ms. Bucci served as in-house coverage counsel for a risk retention group where she advised senior management regarding insurance policy drafting and coverage. She has managed multi-million-dollar insurance coverage disputes and litigations and litigates complex matters in all areas including the construction law arena. She routinely advises adjusters and claims professionals regarding strategies for avoiding bad faith and extra-contractual liability claims.
Ms. Bucci has authored and co-authored multiple articles on insurance coverage. A frequent speaker at continuing education programs, she has lectured on hot-button coverage issues at the American Bar Association as well as in-house to numerous claims professionals.
Ms. Bucci authors a bi-weekly column entitled “Bucci on B” addressing recent developments in the commercial general liability policy’s coverage b for the firm’s electronic newsletter, Coverage Pointers.
Ms. Bucci is a graduate of Pace University School of Law where she received the Pace Merit Tuition Scholarship and the Barbara Klein Memorial Award. She served as Casenote & Comment editor on the Pace Law Review and graduated magna cum laude.
