
Mr. Dischley is an associate in our Melville office and works in the firm’s Litigation and Insurance Coverage departments. His practice is focused primarily on NYS Labor Law, construction site accidents, premises liability, automobile and commercial trucking litigation, professional liability, insurance law, and general liability insurance defense.
Mr. Dischley regularly engages in all aspects of general liability defense from inception through trial, including expert retention and consultation, all aspects of discovery, conducting and defending depositions, motion practice, mediation, and trial preparation. He has represented insureds, owners, contractors, doctors, insurance companies, and municipalities before State and Federal Courts.
Prior to joining Hurwitz & Fine, Mr. Dischley worked at a large insurance defense firm, where his practice also included defending medical and veterinary malpractice actions, in both civil actions and before regulatory boards, as well as toxic tort and products liability actions.
Mr. Dischley received a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the State University of New York at Geneseo in 2011 and his Juris Doctorate from St. John’s University School of Law in 2015. Mr. Dischley attended St. John’s University School of Law while working full time as a law clerk and was a Dean’s List award recipient.
Mr. Dischley is a member of the New York State Bar Association, Suffolk County Bar Association, and the Hellenic Lawyers Association.
