Lani J. Brandon
Ms. Brandon is an associate in the firm’s Litigation Department, where she handles matters in automotive and premises liability.
Prior to joining Hurwitz and Fine, Ms. Brandon served as Assistant Field Counsel for a large national insurance carrier, defending commercial and individual policy holders in tort actions involving motor vehicle accidents and premises liability.
Ms. Brandon began her legal career practicing environmental law for a small firm that focused on real estate acquisition or divesture and development.
A native of Western New York, Ms. Brandon earned her Juris Doctorate from Pace University School of Law, where she was a member of Trial Advocacy. During law school, Ms. Brandon worked full time as an analyst at a national entertainment company.
Prior to law school, Ms. Brandon worked in the music and entertainment industries after earning her Bachelor of Music Degree in Music Business/Management and Songwriting from Berklee College of Music in 2001.
Ms. Brandon is active in her local community, where she serves as a Town Justice. She is also an Advanced EMT and Firefighter with her local volunteer fire department.
