Earl K. Cantwell
Mr. Cantwell is an accomplished civil litigation attorney with 30 years of litigation experience in state and federal courts. Mr. Cantwell focuses his practice in commercial litigation (including business contract matters, business disputes, real estate claims, securities litigation, business and partnership dissolution), as well as construction litigation.
Mr. Cantwell’s practice also includes the defense of claimed errors and omissions by attorneys, accountants, architects, engineers, brokers and other professionals. He has also handled the defense of corporate officers and directors accused of errors, negligence and other misfeasance.
Mr. Cantwell has experience in all aspects of civil litigation including initial intake and analysis, pre-litigation counseling, pleadings, motions, discovery, depositions, pre-trial conferences, mediations, arbitrations, trials and appeals.
Mr. Cantwell is frequently asked to speak, write and provide training for the Bar Association of Erie County, the New York State Bar Association, Lorman Educational Seminars, the National Business Institute, the Harmonie Group and other professional legal associations and publications. He is a member of the New York State and Erie County Bar Associations, having served on the board of the latter’s Volunteer Lawyers Project.
