Representative civic and charitable organizations include or have included the Community Foundation for Greater Buffalo, a nonprofit charitable organization dedicated to connecting people, ideas and resources to improve lives in Western New York through targeted campaigns addressing education, poverty, equality, the environment and the arts; Housing Opportunities Made Equal (HOME), a nationally recognized civil rights organization that advocates for discrimination-free housing; the WNY Women’s Foundation which invests in innovative solutions to issues of special significance to women; Neighborhood Legal Services, which provides free legal and advocacy services to low-income and disabled individuals; the YWCA, which is dedicated to eliminating racism and empowering women; the Minority Bar Association, which works to protect civil rights and to enhance the legal services available to minority communities; and our firm president helped found the Western New York Chapter of the Women’s Bar Association of the State of New York.
