Kara M. Eyre has joined Hurwitz & Fine, P.C. as an associate in the Premises Liability, Products Liability, Medical Malpractice & Nursing Home Liability and Transportation Negligence practice groups.
An experienced litigator, Ms. Eyre has focused her practice on the defense of general and commercial liability matters, including premises liability, transportation negligence, medical malpractice, and nursing home negligence.
Prior to joining Hurwitz & Fine, Ms. Eyre spent many years as a defense attorney representing physicians, hospitals, and medical institutions in complex matters involving medical malpractice and nursing home negligence. She has extensive experience managing the defense of cases through all phases of litigation and has successfully argued appeals before the Fourth Department Appellate Division.
Ms. Eyre received her undergraduate degree from the University of Pennsylvania, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. She received her Juris Doctor from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law at Yeshiva University, where she concentrated in litigation.
