Ms. Fijal is an accomplished litigation attorney with an extensive background in insurance coverage analysis and insurance coverage litigation. Ms. Fijal is regularly engaged in complex insurance coverage matters involving commercial lines and personal lines, including matters involving excess and umbrella coverage. Ms. Fijal also has a strong background in New York State Labor Law and its interplay with insurance coverage issues.
In addition to her background in insurance coverage matters, Ms. Fijal’s experience includes several years of successfully defending insurance agents and brokers in Errors and Omissions claims and lawsuits in various venues throughout New York State.
Ms. Fijal’s professional liability experience also includes defending various other types of Errors & Omissions claims based in real estate, securities and legal malpractice.
Ms. Fijal received both her Juris Doctor and her bachelor’s degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo.
